Vinted Fees Explained (2026)
By Selling Fee Tools team ·
Vinted is free for sellers: there is no selling fee, and the buyer pays Vinted’s fee at checkout. This guide explains what each side pays on Vinted UK, from Vinted’s Help Centre and price list, checked in November 2026.
Sellers: no selling fee
When an order completes, the full item price goes to your Vinted Balance. Sell a dress for £20 and you receive £20. Your only costs are optional ones, such as Bumps, and what the item cost you.
Buyers: the Vinted fee
The buyer pays a mandatory Vinted fee, which Vinted used to call the Buyer Protection fee. It hasn’t changed, only its name. Vinted’s price list says it is usually:
- 3% to 8% of the item or bundle price, plus £0.30 to £0.80.
The exact amount is shown at checkout. On common prices, with postage at £2.99:
| Item price | You receive | Vinted fee (buyer) | Buyer pays with postage |
|---|---|---|---|
| £10 | £10.00 | £0.60 to £1.60 | £13.59 to £14.59 |
| £20 | £20.00 | £0.90 to £2.40 | £23.89 to £25.39 |
| £50 | £50.00 | £1.80 to £4.80 | £54.79 to £57.79 |
The fee doesn’t come out of your money, but your buyer sees it, so it is part of how your price compares with other sites.
Vinted Pro sellers
For Pro sellers, orders under £500 have the same range. Orders of £500 or more, including bundles, pay a flat 3% of the item price including VAT: £18 on a £600 order.
Postage
The buyer chooses the delivery option and pays postage at checkout, so postage doesn’t reduce what you receive.
Bumps
A Bump is an optional paid promotion for a listing, for 3 or 7 days. Its price depends on the item’s price and the duration, and is shown when you pay. If you lower the price during a Bump, its cost stays the same.
