Vinted vs Depop Fees in the UK (2026)

By Selling Fee Tools team ·

Neither Vinted nor Depop charges UK sellers a selling fee any more, but they still differ. On Depop the seller pays payment processing; on Vinted the buyer pays a fee instead. This guide compares them from each platform’s help pages, checked in November 2026.

On Vinted you keep the whole price, and the buyer pays Vinted’s fee on top; on Depop you give up a little of the sale to processing. Boosting on Depop costs far more than processing.

Selling as a business

Vinted has Pro accounts for businesses; their buyers pay a flat 3% fee on orders of £500 or more. If you’re VAT-registered, remember that VAT is due on your sales on either platform; the UK VAT calculator works out the VAT in a price.
