Poshmark Fees Explained (2026)
By Selling Fee Tools team ·
Poshmark has one of the simplest fee structures of any marketplace: one fee per sale, no listing fee and no monthly fee. This guide explains it for the US and Canada, from Poshmark’s own fee policies, checked in November 2026.
The fee in the US
Under Poshmark’s Fee Policy (version 1.7, effective 25 November 2024), the fee is deducted from the final order price:
- Under $15: a flat $2.95.
- $15 and above: 20%, so you keep 80%.
The buyer pays shipping with Poshmark’s prepaid label, so the fee is on the item price only.
| Sale price | Fee | You earn | Fee as % of price |
|---|---|---|---|
| $8 | $2.95 | $5.05 | 36.9% |
| $12 | $2.95 | $9.05 | 24.6% |
| $14.99 | $2.95 | $12.04 | 19.7% |
| $15 | $3.00 | $12.00 | 20.0% |
| $50 | $10.00 | $40.00 | 20.0% |
| $100 | $20.00 | $80.00 | 20.0% |
The $15 price trap
Because the fee jumps from a flat $2.95 to 20% at $15, a $15.00 sale earns less than a $14.99 one: $12.00 against $12.04. Every price from $15.00 to $15.05 earns less than $14.99. If you’re pricing near the line, list at $14.99 or at $15.06 and above.
On cheap items the flat fee is heavy: an $8 sale loses almost 37% to fees.
The fee in Canada
Poshmark Canada’s Fee Policy (version 1.0, effective 18 December 2023):
- Under C$20: a flat C$3.95.
- C$20 or more: 20%.
- GST/HST on the fee is deducted from your earnings at the rate for your province.
For a seller in Ontario (13% HST):
| Sale price | Fee | HST on the fee | You earn |
|---|---|---|---|
| C$10 | C$3.95 | C$0.51 | C$5.54 |
| C$19.99 | C$3.95 | C$0.51 | C$15.53 |
| C$20 | C$4.00 | C$0.52 | C$15.48 |
| C$50 | C$10.00 | C$1.30 | C$38.70 |
In a 5% GST province the C$50 sale earns C$39.50; in a 15% HST province, C$38.50. The same price trap applies at C$20.
What to list at
To earn a set amount at 20%, divide by 0.8: to earn $30, list at $37.50. In Canada, divide by 0.8 and allow for tax on the fee: to earn C$30 in Ontario, list at C$38.76.
The buyer fee that came and went
In 2024 Poshmark briefly moved to a lower seller fee plus a Buyer Protection Fee. On 24 October 2024 it went back to $2.95 under $15 and 20% above, and removed the buyer fee. The current policy has no buyer fee.
