Poshmark vs Depop Fees (2026)

By Selling Fee Tools team ·

Poshmark and Depop are both fashion resale apps, but they charge sellers in very different ways. Poshmark takes a share of every sale; Depop, in the US, takes only payment processing unless you boost. This guide compares them for US sellers, from each platform’s own fee pages, checked in November 2026.

The fees side by side

Poshmark (US)Depop (US)
Selling fee$2.95 under $15, 20% from $15None
Payment processingIncluded3.3% + $0.45 on item, shipping and tax
BoostingNone12% if sold through a boosted listing
ShippingBuyer pays Poshmark’s prepaid label; no fee on itCharged to the buyer; processing applies to it
Listing and monthly feesNoneNone

The same sales on both

The buyer pays $6 shipping on Depop, and you pay $6 postage; on Poshmark the buyer pays for the label directly. Sales tax and item cost are left out:

Item pricePoshmark: you keepDepop, not boosted: you keepDepop, boosted at 12%, own label
$12$9.05$10.96$8.80
$40$32.00$38.03$32.51
$100$80.00$96.05$83.33

Without a boost, Depop leaves you more on every sale: about $6 more on a $40 item and $16.05 more on $100. A 12% boost on your own label brings Depop close to Poshmark, and on cheap items below it.

What else to weigh

  • Audience. The fee is only half the story: where your buyers are matters more. You can list on both.
  • Canada and the UK. Poshmark sells in Canada (C$3.95 under C$20, 20% above, plus GST/HST on the fee). Depop has no selling fee in the UK and Australia.
  • Price points. On Poshmark, avoid prices from $15.00 to $15.05: they earn less than $14.99.
