eBay Fees by Category (US, 2026)
By Selling Fee Tools team ·
eBay charges a final value fee on each sale: a percentage of the total amount of the sale, which includes the item price, shipping, handling and sales tax, plus a per-order fee of $0.30 for sales of $10 or less and $0.40 above. Most categories pay the same rate, but some don’t. This guide lists the US rates for sellers without an eBay Store, from eBay’s Selling fees page, checked in October 2026.
Most categories: 13.6%
13.6% of the total up to $7,500, and 2.35% on any part above. This covers most of eBay, including clothing, home and garden, toys, sporting goods, health and beauty, collectibles and electronics. A $100 sale pays $13.60 + $0.40 = $14.00.
