eBay Australia Pro Plans Compared

eBay Australia works differently from other eBay sites: smaller sellers sell for free, and larger ones choose an eBay Pro plan. This guide compares the plans using eBay.com.au’s fee pages, checked in October 2026. Fees are shown including GST for sellers registered in Australia.
Free selling
Sellers registered in Australia, without a Pro plan, with A$25,000 or less in sales over the past 12 months, pay no final value fees on Australian sales, and a 3% fee on international ones. Once you go over A$25,000, eBay moves you to Pro Starter from the 1st of the next month.

When Pro Basic pays for itself
Basic costs A$27.45 a month. On the final value fee alone, it pays for itself at about:
- Tier 1, 5.37 points lower than Starter: A$510 a month of sales. One A$800 phone saves A$42.93.
- Tier 2, 1.96 points lower: A$1,400 a month.
- Tier 4, only 0.31 points lower, with a 3¢ higher order fee: about A$8,900 a month or more, so fashion and collectables sellers gain little from Basic.
Featured and Anchor save more per sale but cost more each month, so they suit high-volume sellers. The calculator’s plan comparison works this out for your own sale and volume.
