eBay International Fees by Country

By Selling Fee Tools team ·

When you sell to a buyer in another country, eBay adds an international fee on top of the final value fee. Its rate depends on where you’re registered and where the buyer is. This guide compares the four eBay sites we cover, from each site’s fee pages, checked in October 2026.

The rates

Your eBay siteInternational fee
eBay.com (US)1.65% for buyers outside the US
eBay.co.uk, business sellers1.05% to Europe (eurozone and Northern Europe), 1.8% to the US and Canada, 2% elsewhere
eBay.co.uk, private sellers3%
eBay.ca0.4% to the US, 1% elsewhere; none with eBay International Shipping
eBay.com.au, free selling3%
eBay.com.au, Pro plans1.1%

Like the final value fee, the international fee is a percentage of the total amount of the sale, including postage.

On a 100.00 sale abroad

  • US seller: $1.65
  • UK business seller, buyer in France: £1.05; buyer in the US: £1.80; buyer in Australia: £2.00
  • UK private seller: £3.00
  • Canadian seller, buyer in the US: C$0.40; elsewhere C$1.00
  • Australian seller on free selling: A$3.00; on a Pro plan A$1.10

When there’s no international fee

In Canada, eBay doesn’t charge it when you ship with eBay International Shipping on an eligible listing. Check each site’s fee page for the shipping programmes that apply where you sell.

Work out your own numbers

Each eBay calculator has a buyer location option that adds the right international fee:
