Amazon.com.au charges a referral fee on each sale: a percentage of the total sales price, which includes delivery and gift wrap. Unlike Amazon in the US, UK and Canada, there is no minimum or maximum referral fee. All fees are quoted excluding GST. This guide lists the categories from Amazon’s Australian pricing page, checked in October 2026.

Closing fee, plans and GST
- Media closing fee: A$1.00 per item for Media, Video Games and Gaming Accessories, and Video Game Consoles, on any plan. A A$20 book pays A$3.00 + A$1.00 = A$4.00.
- Plans: Professional A$49.95 a month, or Individual A$0.99 per item, excluding GST.
- GST: sellers who aren’t registered pay 10% on top of every fee; registered sellers usually claim it back.
- FBA: fulfilment fees by size tier and weight, lower for items priced under A$13.
